Tuition & Fees

A primary goal of St. Ambrose Catholic School is to provide a high-quality education for children at a reasonable price.  In doing so, the following fees and tuition rates have been set for the 2021 – 2022 school year.

New Family Application Fee

  • All fees are non-refundable and may not be rolled into monthly tuition payments for the 2021-2022 school year.

  • The registration fee is due at the time of re-enrollment. 

  • The Student Fee is due by May 1, 2021. This fee includes textbooks, copied enrichment materials, standardized testing fees, student insurance, and Archdiocesan taxes.

Per Student

There are 4 options for payment of tuition:

  • Option 1: Pay tuition in full by July 15th and receive a 3% discount in total tuition.
  • Option 2: Pay tuition in two equal payments by July 15th and January 15th and receive a 1.5% discount.
  • Option 3: Pay your tuition in 10 monthly payments starting on July 15th. (July – April)
  • Option 4: Pay your tuition in 12 monthly payments starting in June. (June 15th – June 15th)

For the 2021-2022 academic school year, all families will be required to set up an account through FACTS Tuition Management. https://factsmgt.com/services/tuition-management/ You may pay via bank draft or credit card through FACTS. A FACTS service fee will be assessed. Their service fee is non-refundable. Should a payment amount or method change, the service fee will change accordingly. No tuition payments should come directly to the school office.


Tuition Assistance Information

A Tuition Assistance Application is available for the 2021 – 2022 academic school year. Applicants for Financial Aid must also apply through the Archdiocese of Galveston- Houston Tuition Assistance at: www.choosecatholicschools.org/tuition-assistance-program/

We advise applying to the Archdiocese Tuition Assistance program before the February 11, 2021 deadlines as 90% of funds available will be distributed then.


Family Fundraising Commitment

Fundraising Requirement$200 per Family

 

To provide a quality Catholic education for children, the school must have the necessary funds to provide the best-qualified teachers possible, as well as current technology and textbooks. Tuition does not cover the cost per pupil to educate our students. St. Ambrose Catholic School respectfully requests positive parental participation in required school fundraising activities and in serving the school.

There is a $200 per student fundraising requirement. If not fully met, then the remaining requirement will be billed through FACTS on April 1, 2022.


Family Service Hour Commitment

10 HoursPer Family

 

In order for our fundraising efforts to be successful, we must rely heavily on our parent volunteers. The Parent Organization, School Board and other committees provide many opportunities for parents to become involved in the school happenings.

Parent volunteer hours (per family) will be required throughout the school year, ten hours per family. Those families that have not completed their commitment by May 15, 2022, will be billed at a rate of $50/hour for the outstanding balance of hours.
