Faith & Service

St. Ambrose School and Parish are called together as a community to nurture the spiritual formation, academic excellence, and physical, emotional, and social growth of all students. The uniqueness of each student is embraced in a safe, loving, caring environment. St. Ambrose students are prepared to meet and respond to the opportunities and challenges of the future as responsible, Christian members of society.

All classes celebrate Mass together as a school family every Wednesday morning. St. Ambrose students also say a Morning Prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance, the Texas Pledge, the school mission statement, and The Learners Creed over the PA every morning.

Sister Maureen would like to extend the invitation to join the Rosary Club and Adoration Club to St. Ambrose students K-8th grade.

The Rosary Club is held on Mondays after school until 3:30 pm. St. Ambrose Catholic School launched Rosary Club in October 2021 and we have registered students, parents, and teachers that are helping. We invite students that have not registered, parents, grandparents, and friends to join us in the church every Monday after school from 3 pm-3:30 pm to pray the rosary. We say the 5 decades of the Rosary and have a snack. Students will be dismissed from the church.

Students learn and make Rosaries on the last Mondays of the month after Rosary from 3:30 pm-4 pm.

The Adoration Club is held on Wednesdays after school until 3:30 pm. The main purpose of the Adoration Club is to give the students the opportunity to adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, it will give the students the opportunity to spend time in Eucharistic Adoration. The Adoration Club will also transform their lives and deepen their relationship with God.

During the Eucharistic Adoration, the students will pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet, there will be an explanation of the Eucharistic Adoration (Adoration miracles and history) or reflection from scripture, they will have a private time to pray and adore Jesus and conclude with songs and divine praises.

Please contact Sr. Maureen Nwajiobi if you have questions about the Rosary or Adoration Clubs.
